The First Church of Round Hill, through the Outreach Program, will help meet the financial, physical and spiritual needs of our parishioners and neighbors, locally and globally.

We will take an active role in these major areas:

  • Hunger
  • Shelter
  • Medical Care
  • Education

Our overall emphasis is on ensuring that basic and immediate needs are met. The Outreach Committee achieves these goals by giving financial support to a wide variety of organizations throughout the world. In addition, the committee provides many opportunities for our congregation to help those in need in a more hands-on, concrete fashion. The following highlights many of the organizations we assist and the programs we sponsor.

Upendo Aids Centre
This program, based in Tanzania, Africa, helps serve the needs of families affected by the AIDS virus. Run by Mama Wandoa, this organization provides support to care for orphans, such as supplementary nutrition, school uniforms and supplies. In addition, UPENDO provides educational counseling to care givers and HIV parents. They also provide home and hospital visits to patients as well as spiritual counseling.
